A JetBlue Airways Airbus A320, registration N586JB, operating flight JBU1844 / B61844 from Bridgetown Grantley Adams International Airport (Barbados) to Boston Logan International Airport, MA (USA), requested to return shortly after takeoff due to multiple faults. The pilots could not specify the exact nature of the emergency initially. Later, the flight crew reported that one engine was indicating shutdown and failure, although it appeared to be functioning. The aircraft safely landed on runway 9 at Bridgetown Grantley Adams International Airport. This aircraft (N586JB) returned to service on June 7, 2024, three days after the incident.
