Are you ready to learn to knit a hat? This video is designed to show you who to knit your own really cute cat hat, and it is designed for beginners. You will need to know how to knit AND purl to make this hat. Check below for video links to both knit and purl stitches.
This video is a tutorial that shows how to make your own knit flat cat hat. The full written instructions and pictures of the finished project are on my blog.

To make this project, you will need to know how to Knit, Purl, CO, BO, and sew seams. It's a great beginner's hat project, because you can knit it flat and then seam it up. It's so cute! These technique videos on my channel!
Instructions: CO 20 stitches, knit in k2p2 for 6 rows, then knit stockinette for 11", then knit the ribbing again for 6 rows, Bind Off. Then fold the hat in half and sew up the sides, secure the ends and turn right side out. I used a super bulky weight yarn on size 13US needles. The complete instructions is included in the video itself.
Meet the Springtime Kitten! The day we took the pictures for this hat, was a wonderful warm February day. The kind of day where you could taste spring sensation in the air. That's how I came up with the name for this super cute cat hat. Everybody loves kittens! (and if you don't then this is not the right channel for you)
