As we study the Srimad Bhagavatam daily, we are learning so much. Here is what we learned in this chapter
Chapter 7 of the Third Canto of the Srimad Bhagavatam, titled “Further Inquiries by Vidura,” features a dialogue between Vidura and the sage Maitreya. In this chapter, Vidura continues his quest for spiritual knowledge and asks Maitreya various questions to deepen his understanding of the cosmic creation and the nature of the Supreme Personality of Godhead.
Vidura inquires about the process of creation and the role of the different energies of the Lord. He seeks clarification on how the material world is manifested, maintained, and ultimately dissolved. He is particularly interested in understanding the role of time and the activities of the demigods in the cosmic process.
Maitreya responds by describing how the Supreme Lord, through His various energies and expansions, orchestrates the creation, maintenance, and dissolution of the universe. He explains that time is a powerful force controlled by the Lord, which drives the cycles of creation and destruction.
