Can a civilian YouTuber survive
Can a civilian YouTuber survive a week training with the Honduran special forces without giving up? In this series, I accept the challenge of joining the bootcamp of Comando Cobra, the elite force of the Honduran national police. To complete the course, I have to pass tortuous physical and mental challenges, run more than 20 km every day, pass an evaluation at the shooting range, learn to rescue the wounded, participate in drills with live bullets, endure tear gas, plunge into a lagoon in the extreme cold, sleep little, eat little, eat strange things like toad eggs, and overcome my fear of heights.
Comando Cobra is responsible for taking on the most dangerous missions in the country, such as kidnapping rescues and raids on buildings heavily protected by gangs or drug traffickers. There are only 70 cobras in the entire country, as the requirement is too difficult. To become a Cobra, you have to survive 5 weeks of training, designed in conjunction with the US Army Rangers, Navy Seals, and Delta Force. It's so demanding that when I arrived at the base in the mountainous city of Lepaterique, they told me that of the 120 enrolled in the course, 50 had already given up in just the first week, and some could not stand it for a day.
What is my limit as a human being? Do I have the mental and physical strength to be the first honorary Cobra in the history of Honduras? Let's find out together.
