Filmed 10/21/2018 - A region which seems to me like a cross between the Texas Hill Country, prairie, and woodlands. The limestone in this region is older than that of the Edwards Plateau and is more eroded. The topography is flatter than the Balcones Canyonlands. This stretch of highway was TX 144 between Glen Rose and Walnut Springs, in Somervell and Bosque Counties.

EPA ECOREGIONS:
Level I - Great Plains (9);  Level II - South Central Semiarid Prairies (9.4);  Level III - Cross Timbers (29) ;  Level IV - Limestone Cut Plain (29e).
