How to Analyze Working Capital of a Business? | One Key Metric to analyze Working Capital Efficiency | Finance with Manoj Rajgopal
Working Capital management can make or break a business and ultimately it's stock price as well. Efficient management of Working Capital can help a business improve efficiency, reduce costs, improve margins, improve key metrics like ROE & ROCE as well.
In this video, we look at one of the most important indicator to analyze working capital efficiency of a business and it's related metrics too. For this concept, we have taken the case of Pipes Industry and we analyze the leading companies in the industry like Astral, Finolex and Supreme industries and a few companies which are not able to keep up efficiency in their working capital as compared to the leaders.
CFO/EBITDA usually indicates the working capital efficiency at best and also with other metrics like Cash Conversion Cycle(and it's components) and Debt/Total Capital Ratio, we get a broader picture of the working capital efficiency of the company.
