A walk through how to make this delicious Air Fryer Chicken Katsu complete with homemade sweet & tangy Tonkatsu Sauce! This is such a fast and easy recipe, you’ll have dinner ready in no time at all! //RECIPE//

- boneless, skinless chicken breast
- flour of your choice
- egg wash
- Japanese style coarse panko crumbs
- (salt & pepper if desired)


//TONKATSU SAUCE//  *sweet & tangy

- 2 tbs ketchup
- 1 to 2 tbs sugar (per taste)
- 1 tbs worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbs oyster sauce
- 1 tsp rice vinegar
- 1 tsp soy sauce
Mix well, microwave about 20 seconds to really incorporate the flavor optional
*don't forget to taste, and adjust accordingly

//INSTRUCTIONS//

* Pre-heat the Ninja Grill, I set to an Air Crisp temp 425° 12 minutes.*

Depending on the size of your chicken breast, cut in half, and using a meat tenderizer pound out to an even thinness. Coat well in flour, egg wash then tightly coat in the panko crumbs. When Ninja Grill displays "add food", place coated chicken into air crisp basket, [I did 2 at a time].. spritz with your desired oil (top only) Let cook for 6 minutes (halfway mark). Flip chicken and spritz again (top). Let cook the remaining 5-6 minutes until your desired crispness. Let cool about a minute on cooling rack, set onto a cutting board, slice diagonally. You can then drizzle Tonkatsu Sauce on top, serve on the side or both!
