This system is designed to assist the driver in staying in the center of the lane while being combined with adaptive cruise control to keep a safe distance between vehicles. This system is still dependent on driver input and does not drive the vehicle for you, however does help steer the vehicle around bends, slow down and stop as traffic does in front of you and assist with alert and braking in the event of an emergency situation.
