CONSECRATION OF BISHOPS AND PRESENTATIONS OF ARCHBISHOPS AND DEAN.

AVMCC HOSTS CONSECRATION OF BISHOPS AND PRESENTATIONS OF ARCHBISHOPS and DEAN

The Archbishop Vining Memorial Church Cathedral Ikeja, Lagos State in the Diocese of Lagos West, Anglican Communion witnessed a symbolic consecration of four Bishops and presentation of two Archbishops and new Dean of the Church in a powerful and stay glued service.  

They are; The Rt. Rev'd Collins Babalola for Diocese of Ajayi Crowther,
The Rt. Rev'd Festus Nwafili for Diocese of Ndokwa,
The Rt. Rev. Ifedola Okupevi for Diocese of Lagos and
The Rt. Rev'd Ebenezer. O. Saiki for Diocese of Akoko- Edo.

The Archbishops are;
The Most Revd Dr. Michael Fape for the Province of Lagos and
The Most Revd Dr. Timothy Yahaya for the Province of Kaduna.

The New Dean of the Church of Nigeria, Anglican Communion is The Most Revd Dr. Blessing Enyindah of Ikwere Diocese who also holds the position of the Vice Chairman of the Church of Nigeria owned Television Advent Cable Network Nigeria Television, ACNNTV.  

The Archbishop Metropolitan and Primate of Nigeria, The Most Rev'd Dr. Henry C. Ndukuba led the impactful service while The Most Rev’d Joseph Akinfenwa of Ibadan Diocese gave a lucid and highly indept sermon.

Eminent personalities graced the occasion were the governor of the state  Babajide Sanwo-Olu who was represented by his wife, former governor of Ogun State Senator Gbenga Daniel and Wole Olanipekun SAN, The Primate of the West African Province, The Most Revd Dr Cyril Kobina Ben-Smith and Primate of the African Church in Nigeria, Archbishop Julius Olayinka Osayande Abbe among others.
