This entire Beef Cannelloni dish
This entire Beef Cannelloni dish was prepared for the oven in the Thermochef.
It is one of the simplest ways to prepare Cannelloni and uses home made cannelloni pastry fresh egg pasta see FRESH EGG PASTA MADE IN THE THERMOCHEF for the recipe for the pasta. This quantity makes enough for One Large Lasagne plus This recipe for cannelloni which will serve 3-4 people, as well.
Can be made ahead of time and cooked during the week after work or Lazy Saturday afternoon lunch Its a big hit with young and old and very satisfying to make the entire dish yourself. Give it a try and wait for the compliments.
INGREDIENTS
500 grams very lean mince
50 grams diced bacon
50 grams onion sliced
50 grams carrot diced
20 grams celery sliced
2 cloves chopped garlic
salt and pepper to taste
good pinch of italian herbs
30 grams olive oil
30 grams diced capsicum
400 grams tomato passata
300 grams spicy pasta sauce
50 grams tomato paste
20 grams balsamic vinegar
20 grams chilli sauce
150 grams crumbly cheese (ricotta)
30 grams parmesan cheese
1 quantity of home made Lasagne sheets which have been cooked to al dente stage and drained and separated.
