My first attempt at imaging Jupiter using a Canon EOS 90D, a Sigma 150-600mm Contemporary Lens & a Sigma 1.4x Teleconverter.

I recorded a quick video of Jupiter in full HD at 50fps.

Then I processed that video using PIPP and then AutoStakkert.  These pieces of free software allow you to convert the raw video into 50 separate photographs per second and then stacks the best of these images into one, single flat photograph featuring the sharpest details from all the frames.

I didn't edit this one in Photoshop, it's about as good as I could expect it to be given the atmospheric conditions, which I presume were causing the "wobbles" on the video?  I did rotate the image though.

It does give you a realistic expectation as to how Jupiter looks on the LiveView screen though, the raw video here is exactly what is seen.
