Biblioteca Angelica was the venue where Dr. Tiziana Lorenzetti of International Institute of South Asian Studies (ISAS) hosted a unique exhibition commemorating the contribution of Sikh Army during the Great War (1914-1919).

In this composition composed (December 2012) and sung by Bhai Baldeep Singh in Raga Ramkali (it's oldest version, that is), Bhagat Kabir Sahib announces (to his mind) that the auspicious moment for which the grand warrior prepared for, has arrived. Bhagat Kabir describes the grand warrior and the purpose for which a battle is fought, which is to restore back the dignity of the disgraced, the meek —the humbled. He also highlights the resolve and resilience of the warrior who inspite of irretrievable losses to body and personal interests, fights on and never wavers.
This Sloka by Bhagat Kabir was one of the staple couplets recited, hummed and sung by the Sikh Army men with absolute passion as they would battle on.
