Woodturning - A Red Delicious Log

This weeks project is something I started a couple of months ago, the wood was taken from a Red Delicious Apple tree. The epoxy mix was a bit of an experiment which I thought turned out pretty good. The mix was two colours of carbon silver and a bronze / copper. After the initial rough cut the wood was returned to the drier to loose the last of its moisture ready for casting. Large amount of Burl within this piece which makes it extra nice. This will be available on my website soon - mjturning.com
