Learn how to enable Search Box/Bar in Windows 10 Taskbar. For some users this may not be available. But this is a very useful built in tool provided by Microsoft Windows. You can use this search box to launch apps, find for recently worked files or system settings etc.,

This search box also displays results almost instantly, reducing your time spent in searching for apps as how we do in earlier versions of Windows.

To turn it on: Right Click on Taskbar, Choose Search, enable Search box or Search icon.

Once it is enabled, the below listed operations can be performs in it.
