How much does a public servant in Korea get paid per year？
A survey of 970－thousand officials by the Ministry of Government Administration and Home Affairs shows that last year， the average official was paid approximately 52－thousand U.S. dollars a year before taxes.
That′s around four－thousand－three－hundred dollars a month，... a four－and－a－half percent increase from the previous year.
The survey included public servants at the lowest ranking to senior officials， including the prime minister.
