Today I will show you how to make such Chanel style collars.
Before you start making a collar you need to decide on the shape of the collar and the depth of the front neckline.
You can make a collar as wide as you want.
The shape and the width of a collar depends just on the design.
You should work with your own measurements.
You can even draw a collar without measuring anything at all. Draw it by sight.
There are no spacial rules for it.
You need to draw the lower part of the collar and the roll line using the techniques I’ll show you.
You can make a collar of any shape you like.
I try to show you something new and useful every day.
The collar will be very beautiful.
When I cut the collar, I’ll pin it to a dummy to show you how it looks like.
I want you to forget about ready-made patterns. When you learn to work with patterns, you’ll be able to sew anything you want. Do not forget to make a notch on the center back.
It makes me really sad that people don’t wear collars.
