In 2015, Atwood did a "Ball Pit" prank which involved decorating his house with hundreds of small plastic balls. The person who was being pranked was his partner, Brittney Smith, and she loved the outcome. Soon afterward, Nissan saw the video and gave Roman a brand new 2015 Nissan GT-R in exchange for them to use the video in their Superbowl halftime campaign called "WithDad".

Roman's two channels, "RomanAtwood" and "RomanAtwoodVlogs", have surpassed 5 billion views in total. This puts Atwood's average views at over 3,000,000 per video. With over 23 million subscribers combined, both his channels are on the 100 Most-subscribed Youtube channels.
