Opal cutting: carving a large Andamooka opal with a Dremel.

Hi everyone, I hope you’re all well! In this video I’ll carve a large Andamooka opal that I wasn’t too sure about it’s structural integrity, but managed to carve out a half decent face to display while leaving the rest as natural as possible. I have now weighed this opal and was closer on my first estimation, it comes in just under 200gm at around 980cts.
