Rape is a difficult and important topic that is the focus of episode 7 of Accused. It is the account of Brenda, a struggling stand-up comedian who was sexually assaulted by Zeke Thompson, a coworker and ex-boyfriend. Both performed stand-up at Goldie's, a bar that Joyce Golden owns.
Ezekiel achieved fame and gained widespread popularity. Brenda wants to show him her work because he's even on tour across the nation. She attends his party and brings up Scott, Zeke's manager, not having responded to her. Zeke agrees when Brenda requests a quiet location because the content is on tape.
