All new Ducati Zero supersport electric in Italy - New Ducati Zero Electric Concept
The Ducati Zero is a pureike electric bike with a neat and light appearance. Bart & Fernando was looking for a new design direction, focusing on the possibilities created by the components of the electric drive system. And the result was a smoother, smoother, with a contrasting two-tone body separating the sculpture from the technical parts. The design of the Ducati Zero was inspired by the appearance of a snake's attack and resulted in a posture. super cool and lean forward.
A Ducati boss has been reported as claiming the Italian company will produce an electric bike and a scooter by 2020.
The electric bike comments by Ducati Western Europe managing dress tor Edouard Lotthe to a French moto website come as no surprise.
Ducati have already licensed two electric projects to other companies.
Ducati Zero is a vision for electric super-bike in 2020. This concept features an all electric drivetrain, with light weight carbon-fiber chassis design derived from 1299 superleggera that encloses the light weight battery pack. It also sports a central hub Steering system, another iconic Italian element. The inverse shock absorbers placed in the belly of the motorbike help keep the volumes low to the ground. The design of this motorbike interprets the iconic design language of Ducati Superbikes in a totally new way showing new possibilities. The sleek design of headlamps thanks to the led laser light technology makes it an aerodynamic splitter and channels the air to cool the battery pack. this motorbike can be a lot more aerodynamically efficient as it has lean structure that aids to channelised airflow. the tank area retains the traditional form yet indicates absence of a furl cell with the narrow volume towards lower part of the tank.
