This video features construction and installation of a very simple BXA style quick change tool holder rack, and custom shelf for the backsplash on my new lathe.
The tool holder rack is made from a piece of 1 X 2 80/20 extrusion, some 80/20 style T nuts, and some custom brackets that I designed and had cut by www.sendcutsend.com. Forming of the brackets was performed by yours truly on a miniature press brake.
80/20 style extrusions and accessories are readily available from sources such as McMaster Carr and MSC direct.
If you ask me nicely and lots of people subscribe I might make my bracket design available - cost for the flat pieces was well under a dollar each.
