Basement walls often bear the brunt of a wet winter, flaking and crumbling.
You can repair the damage yourself.

* Remove all loose material with small hammer,
*then brush off the dust.
*You can use packaged concrete repair mixes, available at Home Depot or Home improvement stores.
*Patching concrete with water.
*Spread it on the wall and smooth the surface.
Concrete typically takes 24 to 48 hours to dry.
