TT 2023 - SUPERTWIN - DUNLOP TAKES 24 TT WINS - FROM BALLACRYE

In contrast to previous solo races, first away holding the illustrious No.1 plate was Cowton Racing’s Dominic Herbertson.
Although attentions rightly were upon prospective race victor Dunlop 20 seconds ahead of the field, lots of attention was also on the compelling fight for second between Browne and Coward.
Nip and tuck post Glen Helen, Ballaugh Bridge, Sulby, at Ramsey Hairpin Browne led Coward, with just 1.218 separating the rising TT stars.
As Dunlop took the applauds, plaudits for TT win No.24, becoming the second most successful racer in TT history, who would emerge second?
The answer was first time podium finisher, Irishman Browne finishing 2.237 ahead of 2019 Junior Classic TT winner Coward.
RIP Raul Torras Martinez, top all round guy, top racer, Spain's fastest ever TT competitor. Fantastic ambassador for the sport, will be missed hugely. Lost on the final lap of the Supertwin, first casualty of the TT 2023.
