The Indian Military Nursing Services is a part of Armed Forces Medical Services of the Indian Army, first formed under British rule in 1888. An officer in the Military Nursing Services is granted Permanent Commission or Short Service Commission by a Govt Gazette Notification. Military Nursing Service (MNS) is a Short Service Commissioned officer Post in the Indian Army. Short Service Commission means to serve it for few years. And MNS is a great opportunity for girls and women who want to serve in the Indian Army as Nursing officer. The female candidates who all will clear the Indian Army BSc Nursing Exam and interview will get admission in the four-year course of Army BSc Nursing. After their selection, they will undergo a period of training. During this period, they will be responsible for taking care of the Military hospitals. While on the training, the female candidates will get the MNS stipend during training. MNS entrance is a phase wise exam where NEET is the first written step followed by PAT, CBT and Panel Interview.
