In this weeks Video i show you how to cut and polish big, aesthetic and precious Gemstone Cabochons from cheap Amethyst rough.
I deliberatly use Inclusions, like Fingerprints or reflecting Inclusions and colorzoning in the Stone, to creat incredible aesthetic and precious Cabochons.
So we can creat precious unique Stones from cheap rough Material.
From analysing the rough to the finished Gemstone, you see every Step of the process of Gemstone cutting.
Many useful Tips, especially for best adhesion by using classical Dopwax and a Step by Step Videomanual for correct dopping, will help you on your way to creat your personal precious jewel.
Even an almost opaque and inconspicuous chevron amethyst becomes a striking and very beautiful Gemstone of enormous size.
Be sure to the see the Slideshow of my results at the end of the Video, often you will see the true treasure in your Stone under different lights and from different perspectives.
