This video shows different ways to create BIM objects in Rhino with VisualARQ.
In the first example, some geometry is converted into a block, got an IFC type and custom data assigned and exported to IFC.
In the second example, a VisualARQ Element object is used to manage that block. Values for custom parameters can be assigned to the style so it is not necessary to assign them to each object individually.
In the third example, a VisualARQ Element object created as a Grasshopper style (object styles driven by Grasshopper definitions), is exported to IFC. In that case, the parametric features that define the shape of the new object are exported as IFC Properties.
