awk.word is the first underground stand-up comedy platform in Lebanon. It was created as an answer to the stale comedy scene in the country, and as a reaction to its outdatedness.
awk.word aims to disrupt the comedy scene through free speech, one that raises sociological awareness, pushes the limits of censorship and fosters change.
عن أوكوورد:
أوكوورد هي أوّل منصّة مستقلّة للستاند أب كوميدي في لبنان.أُسِسَت هذه المنصة استجابة لمشهد الكوميديا الواهن في البلد وكردّة فعل على المحتوى المبتذل الذي يقدّمه.
تهدف أوكوورد التأثير على هذا المشهد من خلال حرّية التعبير ,حرّيةً ترفع الوعي الإجتماعي,تدفع بحدود الرّقابة و تعزّز التغيير.
