This property is a high Pennsylvania tract with some soils suitable for food plots and some very high quality growing sites for Red Oak. There are some old pine plantations and a small Norway Spruce planting that was left to mature.
The Food Plots have been eaten to the ground and there is very little forage left for winter. We will fix up the food plots by planting every available space with cover crop cocktails, clover and sorghum for deer and turkey forage.
The Written Forest and Wildlife Habitat Plan includes Prescribed fire, clearcut regeneration harvesting, planting native shrubs, herbicide applications and Timber Stand Improvement harvesting.
