High Power Glan Laser Polarizers

High power glan laser prism is a polarizer which extracts linear polarized light from unpolarized input. Usually it is made of laser grade calcite, yttrium vanadate or alpha BBO. The advantage of high power Glan-laser polarizer is very broad working wavelength range, extremely low Extinction ratio and high power handling.
The main principle of it's structure are two prisms made of birefringent material and an air gap between them. Our Glan-laser polarizer has escape window that allows rejected beam to escape without causing damage to component. Its entrance and exit faces are polished using deep grinding and polishing technique to minimize scattering from the surface.
Applications of glan-laser prisms are mainly scientific. This polarizer can be applied in applications which require high polarization purity and resistance to intense laser pulses.
