Jeremy Oxley, Magic Parade from COMPANION EP

MAGIC PARADE is a track from Jeremy Oxley's new five track EP COMPANION, his second solo work since SUNNYBOYS. Co-written by Jeremy's wife Mary and produced by Brendan Gallagher (Jimmy Little Messenger, Karma County) along with Jeremy, MAGIC PARADE features Jeremy on guitars & vocals, Brendan on guitar, Jeremy's brother Peter Oxley (Sunnyboys) on bass and friend Stu Eadie (Karma County) on drums. Ian Haug (Powderfinger) appears as a guest guitarist and Mary helps out with the backing vocals!

COMPANION includes three tracks re-recorded from Jeremy's unreleased home recording MONASTERY (1998), a deeply personal insight into his feelings and life at the time.  In good health and a loving home situation, Jeremy set to with Brendan, Peter and Stu in 2012 to breathe fresh life into these songs and in doing so changed the personality and perspective of them.  Two new songs, including MAGIC PARADE complete COMPANION and help showcase Jeremy's amazing ability to evolve as a musician.

Ian Haug provided generous access to Airlock Studios for some of the recording and the final mix of COMPANION. All recording costs were recouped via a successful Pozible campaign. COMPANION will be launched June 03 to coincide with the premiere of the documentary THE SUNNYBOY at the Sydney Vivid Festival, June 02 (in partnership with the Sydney Film Festival)
