Groove Hosanna! - The International Staff Band

On Saturday 29 January 2022, The International Staff Band of The Salvation Army held its first concert in two years aptly named 'Together Again'. The musical programme was partitioned into categories, with my piece of music (Groove Hosanna!) featured in the New Composers from around the world section.

Groove Hosanna! is a simple, but quite rhythmic arrangement styled in Funk, hence the title ‘Groove’.
The piece is based on three well-known tunes associated with Jesus Christ's celebrated entry into Jerusalem on a donkey.
The first tune (Children of Jerusalem)
The second tune (Sing Hosanna!)
The final tune (Hosanna).

I'm so thrilled, thankful and humbled!
