pinwheel sandwich :
pinwheel sandwiches are the tiny sandwiches which are rolled and sliced with the stuffing’s. there are several variety of pinwheel sandwiches depending upon topping and spreads used in sandwich. these sandwiches are very easy to prepare and ideal for kids snacks box and also for parties. the toppings can be easily altered to the specific choices.
Ingredients :
bread slices - 4-5
chopped lettuce leaves - 1 cup
chopped carrot - 1 cup
green chutney - 2 tbsp
tomato sauce - 2 tbsp
cheese - 1 cube
pepper powder - 1/2 tsp
butter - 1 tbsp
salt - to taste
Preparations for pinwheel sandwich :
1.Take 3 bread slices and cut the edges from all 4 sides.
2.Roll them flat using chapati roller. roll as thin as possible. This helps us to roll later for preparing sandwich.
3.Now apply butter, green chutney and sauce to each bread slices.
4.then place butter slice over green chutney slice.
5.Also place a grated cheese over butter slice.
6.Then place the sauce bread slice.
7.Also place very little grated carrot and lettuce.
8.Sprinkle some salt and pepper.
9.Now slowly roll the sandwich tightly holding all three bread slices.
10.Cut the rolls into 1 inch pieces or as desired.
11.Serve with spirals facing up to your kids.
