Let's Replace Planes with Bullet Trains! The 10 Busiest Short-Hop Air Routes In the United States

This week we're looking at the busiest air routes that SHOULD be high speed rail, if the United States could figure out how to build it. These are the most-trafficked origin and destination city (really, combined statistical area) pairs in the US under 500 miles. It's a distance we REALLY shouldn't have planes flying between large markets. Every other advanced nation has basically figured this out already, and we're still building narrow gauge tunnels for personal vehicles. It all makes perfect sense.
