How to clean your beauty blender makeup sponge quickly and safely, no microwave needed. You might need to repeat a few times if you haven't cleaned it in a while. The hotter the water the better (without burning your hands).

You could also try the viral beauty blender cleaning hack using a microwave:
1. Clean sponge first with some fairy washing up liquid
2. Place beauty blender in a microwaveable mug with fairy liquid (DON'T forget the water or you'll burn your sponge).
3. Microwave for 30-60 seconds.
4. Pour out water into sink and let sponge cool (DON'T touch it yet, it'll be hot)
5. Once the beauty blender is cool, squeeze out the water and let dry.
6. Repeat steps 1-5 until clean.
