Kurkure Spring Rolls are so crispy and delicious that you just cannot resist having them. We have made this crispy spring rolls recipe with veg spring rolls dipped in a spicy batter that is then coated with breadcrumbs and deep-fried until golden and crispy. You will not get this type of spring roll in any restaurant but only at street food vendors or Chinese food hawkers. You can also take readymade or frozen spring rolls, dip in batter, roll in breadcrumbs and fry them. This Chinese snacks recipe makes for a great appetizer and kids recipe. INGREDIENTS

180g Refined Flour
Salt & Pepper to taste
Water, as required
¼ Cup Chilli Garlic Sauce
4 Spring Rolls
Breadcrumbs, to coat
Oil, for deep-frying

STEPS

Step 1
In a large bowl, add flour, salt and pepper. Mix well and add a little water. Make into a paste, add more water, mix well and form into a thick batter. Add the chilli garlic sauce and combine well.

Step 2
Dip the spring roll into the batter, roll into breadcrumbs and transfer to a pan filled with hot oil for deep-frying.

Step 3
Deep fry for 8-10 minutes over medium heat or until golden and crispy. Make sure to keep turning in between for even colour and cooking.

Step 4
Once cooked, remove from heat, transfer to a serving platter and serve hot with more chilli garlic sauce.
