How to use Bead Stoppers in Jewellery Making

A super quick hint and tip video for you! How to open bead stoppers. These little springs can be used on the ends of beading wires and threads to prevent your beads from sliding off!

The bead stoppers replaces the need for knots. The spring grips the wire or thread, preventing your beads sliding off the end. The bead stoppers are then easily removed by pinching the spring open again. The smaller bead stoppers are great when starting off bead work (instead of sewing on a stopper bead) and the larger one are really useful when working with flexible beading wire for creating bracelets or necklace, especially if you're designing from the middle outwards and might not want to start by attaching a clasp first.
