Looking for a new VR battle royale? Tired of Population One and in desperate need of some fresh VR battle royale games? Well, a brand new GTA VR style battle royale is on it's way...but we might be waiting a long time until it's ready. Let's take a look at some GANGV Battle Royale (GANGV Civil Battle Royale is it's full title) alpha gameplay today, more specifically I'll be checking out some GANGV VR gameplay & seeing how this new VR battle royale compares to what's already on the market & seeing if this GTA clone can hold its own! It's time to strap on the Oculus Rift S, jump into this Grand Theft Auto VR clone & grab some wins.

If you've ever wondered what a GTA battle royale game might look like then this is basically it right here. GANGV Battle Royale throws players into a massive open world battle royale setting, a location that looks extremely similar to GTA V's Los Santos, you're then free to explore the open world causing chaos or you can hop into a battle royale match against other players. The objective is simple, survive until the end, however unlike other VR battle royale games you don't find weapons on the ground, in GANG V you need to rob civilians & shop keepers to gain cash which you can then use to purchase weapons from nearby gun stores. Every shop you take over in GANG V battle royale is then looked after by some NPC goons who will defend the area from other players looking to take your spot. It's a unique system that adds a frantic element to the genre & the hilarity of robbing these brain dead citizens is a definitely bonus. You can also play GANGV on flatscreen, the VR support definitely elevates the game to a more hilarious experience but you don't need a headset to join in on the fun.
Right now in it's Alpha state the game is very, very rough around the edges, GANGV Battle Royale needs a lot more time in the oven before the developers can start charging for this GTA VR / GTA battle royale game but there is a great idea here & there is definitely some fun to be had with this VR battle royale.
