The Lusitano Horse could be considered the national horse of Portugal, revered for its athleticism, intelligence and grace. Every November in the town of Golega, Portugal, Lusitanos and their owners converge on the town for a week long celebration and competition, bringing together Lusitano owners, breeders and admirers together, for a week like no other. The square in the center of the town is a non-stop celebration and parade of Lusitanos, complemented with the smoke of roasting chestnut vendors. Join us, for a celebration of the Lusitano breed, like no other.
