Chapter 5: The Mitotic Cell Cycle

How do we grow from babies to adults? Why do our skin cells grow back after a bruising? How are we able to produce different organs as we grow from zygotes to embryos to fully-formed babies? The answer lies in mitosis! In this video, I explain the different stages of mitosis, the role of mitosis/mitotic cell cycle in living organisms and the importance of stem cells.
