I have exhumed my vintage Team Associated RC10 B2 to run in our next club race to see if I can beat all the other guys running the much newer AE B5 and B6s. It's been sitting for 20 years so I'll give it a once-over and set it up to handle as well as possible. To keep the buggy as old school as I can, I kept the brushed motor, Novak speed controller, and the 75 Mhz FM KO Propo Mars radio. I'm not spending any money on the restoration (for lack of a better term) so I'll be running on a 2S LiPo battery as I have no NiCad batteries available, which is what it would have been running with back in 1995 when the vehicle was new. We ran three buggy races on our backyard R/C track which is sized for 1/10 scale RC buggies and trucks such as Associated SC10, Traxxas Slash, Losi SCTE, RC10GT, RC10B, and RC10T. We also have Kyosho nitro-powered 1/8 scale buggies but they are a bit large and fast for this track.
