The 3D printer with no belts: The Peopoly Magneto X uses closed-loop linear motors!

The Peopoly Magneto X foregoes stepper motors, pulleys and belt and goes straight to closed-loop linear motors embedded into the X and Y linear axes - that's top-tier technology. But did they actually manage to build a worthwhile 3D printer around the tech?
