Made by the Arthur Barr organization in 1960, Stagecoach Westward tells the story of the stagecoach and shows how it helped open the West to settlers and "civilization."  Arthur Barr started his company in 1937 after working as an audio-visual technician for the Pasadena City Schools.  His company was famous for its well-made, if low-budget, educational films.  This one is no exception, showing in detail how the stage was operated and making students familiar with the terminology used to describe it.

Portions of this film may have been shot the Calico Ghost Town in California, although we're not 100% sure.
