This is not "music" in the normal sense. This is a composition of a core frequency and its natural overtones.
Click this link http://bretthouston.com/creations/40-hz/ to find more info on the "science" of 40 hz as a healing mechanism.  ["Energy, frequency and vibration"] Brain wave stimulation healing track using natural instruments, not synthetic or computer generated tones. You need full range speakers [20 Hz-20 KHz] or a subwoofer to produce this low frequency. You may otherwise only hear the natural overtones. It will not be effective on a phone/tablet/laptop etc. They do not produce the low frequencies well, if at all. An inexpensive computer speaker system with a subwoofer should be fine.

Crank it up and you will be feeling relaxed in minutes. It will literally change your vibe.
I love it! It really felt great working on this project.

I think it helps to chant the frequency while you listen to get your entire body vibrating.
40 hz has been shown to effectively reduce/heal neurological effects of Alzheimer’s and many other ailments.
I have been researching and testing this theory and have found this frequency to be very effective at reducing headaches, pain and stress within minutes. However the pure tone or synthetic tones most have used for their tracks sounds brash. I blew out a speaker system while using one of the pure tone sequences. So be cautious when playing low frequencies.

I wanted something natural (no synth or computer tones) so I created this track after tuning a 1931 Kay upright bass to 40 hz. This instrument sounds so amazing. It’s a pure, natural, organic, non-gmo, free-range, gluten-free, tone with all of it’s lovely harmonic overtones.
I also added a singing bowl of 848 hz for a section. That's another one that just makes you feel good. On the core level, "feeling good" stimulates your immune system, and that's really the only thing that heals our body.So whatever you do to make yourself feel good, adds to your health and well being.

Researchers found that small electrical current of 40 hz can trigger lucid dreams. Others found it will reduce amyloid plaques, improve memory and mood.

***One important note! You need a system with full range (20 Hz – 20 KHz) speakers or a subwoofer (low range speaker) to cover the low frequencies. It will not be effective on a phone/tablet/laptop etc without the speakers. The internal speakers on these devices can not produce the low frequencies well, if at all. It doesn;t need to be expensive speakers, just cover the range. Most manufactures list frequency range in product specs for you to verify.
Many inexpensive computer speaker systems will suffice.

Place the speakers surrounding you, a home theater 5;1 system is optimal.
Think of playing the track like a sound bath. Playing the track at high levels, without causing pain in your ears. (Less than 120 decibels to avoid hearing damage)
Most headphones will produce the tone but will not resonate your body like the speakers will.

I noticed that the synthetic tones most have used for their 40 hz tracks sound brash. I blew out a speaker system while using one of the 40 hz sequences on Youtube. Be cautious when playing such low frequencies at high volume, if your system is clipping dial it down!
