This recipe makes the perfect shortbread cookie especially when you add edible pressed flowers. The cookies turn out wonderfully crisp, crumbly and just melt in your mouth. Shortbread cookie recipes I've tried in the past produced a dry, crumbly cookie or an overly buttery heavy cookie but this shortbread cookie recipe hits the perfect balance.
