If you want to open
If you want to open a link in a new tab without right-clicking and selecting "Open link in new tab", simply hold down the Control (Ctrl) key on you keyboard while you click the link. This will open the link in a new tab or window. It saves you the trouble of hitting the back button if you searched for something and the link you click isn't what you are looking for.
It works on YouTube Annotation Links too!!
I know for a fact that this keyboard shortcut works on windows computers, but I'm not sure about Macs because I don't have one.
It is a very simple tip and it helps me a lot. I hope someone will find it useful.
