TIRANA, ALBANIA: Walking the streets of Albania's mysterious capital & visiting all the tourist sights I could before heading to an awesome car show & musical event in Skanderbeg Square.

My first travel video in Tirana and an amazing look around one of Europe's least visited capitals. I started and ended the vlog in Skanderbeg Square where the Retro Albania car show was taking place. What an atmosphere! Classic cars and bikes mixed with rock 'n' roll music from the 1950's and 1960's - it was hard to resist a boogie as I looked around. Before the 1990's very few people owned a car so some of the models on display were used at very high levels of the government - including the car of former Albanian leader Enver Hoxha.
After peeling myself away from the exhibit I joined the tourist trail and found some of Tirana's most important landmarks including the remnants of a former castle, some hidden communist statues from a by-gone era that were stood behind the art gallery, the Albanian Parliament building and the Resurrection of Christ Orthodox Cathedral close to Park Rinia.
After an enjoyable day in the city centre demystifying Tirana I headed back to Skanderbeg Square for more live music, dancing and classic cars.
