2021 Renault Kiger – Classy, affordable compact SUV for India

Renault has unveiled the production-spec Kiger SUV. Renault Kiger Launch: The sub-4m SUV is expected to go on sale in March. Renault Kiger Price: It is expected to be priced from Rs 6 lakh to Rs 10.5 lakh (ex-showroom). Renault Kiger Seating Capacity: Renault will offer the Kiger in a 5-seater configuration. Renault Kiger Powertrains: The SUV will be equipped with two petrol engines: a 1.0-litre naturally aspirated unit (72PS/96Nm) or a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine (100PS/up to 160Nm). While the former will be offered with either a 5-speed MT or AMT gearbox, the latter will get the 5-speed MT along with a CVT option as well. Renault Kiger Features: It will get an 8-inch touchscreen system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, LED headlamps, wireless charging, and push-button start/stop. Renault will also offer the SUV with auto climate control and a PM 2.5 air filter. Renault Kiger Safety: Renault will equip the Kiger with dual front airbags as standard. Other safety features on offer will include ISOFIX child seat anchorages, hill start assist, and vehicle dynamic control.
