This is my first US
This is my first US model locomotive review of 2012 and this one is for the Kato 37-6553 EMD (Electro Motive Diesels) F40PH Diesel Locomotive in the Amtrak livery and is numbered as "400" in the fleet. As you may already know, Kato model locomotives come with a range of detail parts that will need to be fitted by the user when they purchase the model. The model is DCC ready and I believe it uses an 8-pin decoder which I thought it would be worth a mention for those that use DCC on their layouts.
