Learn how to change an air filter in a Husqvarna string trimmer by following the step by step instructions in this video.
You should clean your string trimmer air filter after every 25 hours of use. To clean the air filter, remove the air filter cover and take out the filter. Wash it clean in warm soapy water and rinse thoroughly.
Ensure that the filter is dry before reinstalling. An older air filter cannot be cleaned completely and should therefore be replaced. A damaged air filter must be replaced as well.
Disconnect the sparkplug before performing maintenance. Refer to your manual for more maintenance and storage information.
