How To Create & Save A Project Template and Folder Structure - After Effects

In this tutorial I teach you how to create a template file or an adobe after effects template or .aet.  The first step is to create the folders you want to have in your template.  Next, go to file -- save as -- and then select the drop down and choose Adobe After Effects Template Project.  To make this your default project when creating a new project - go to file (PC) or After Effects (Mac) -- preferences -- New Project.  Now click "new project loads template".
